Growing media cuts a good sales performance
Topsoil and multipurpose compost with John Innes are keeping growing media sales ahead of last year according to the data supplied from garden centres for GTN bestsellers.
Gardeners must be using the summer holidays to rework parts of their garden and are clearly potting on cuttings taken earlier in the season.
Star performers this week include:
- Scotts Levington Multipurpose + John Innes (56 litres) retains the No 1 spot for another week.
- GroWise Multipurpose with John Innes (56 litres) is the highest climber, jumping 25 places to No 7.
- Scotts Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Compost (56 litres) is the highest re-entry at No 21.
