Essex garden centre closes suddenly
Ingatestone Garden Centre, located between Chelmsford and Brentwood in Essex, has closed suddenly.
A note on the door of the centre in Roman Road reads: "Customer notice. The garden centre is now closed."
Owner James Harding (pictured above), who took over the business in 2010, declined to comment adding further information would be forthcoming. It's not clear whether the closure is permanent or not.
The garden centre was founded in 1938.
