Plant sales held up vs 2017 levels for the week of Bank Holiday Monday 2019, even though they were 33% down on that mad planteria Bank Holiday week of last year.
Hopefully we will still have another peak to come later in the month and we reach the end of May up year to date on both 2018 and 2017.
Highlights of the week were:
Pelargoniums, that includes Zonal Geraniums, increased sales at the Top of the Chart by 13%.
Mint plants were the highest GTN chart climbers, up 14 places to No 36.
The increasingly popular Bellis was the highest re-entry at No 38.
