Dobbies and Waitrose launch foodhall in Brighton

Dobbies Garden Centres marked the opening of its second Waitrose foodhall on Thursday (August 25), with Brighton being the next store to feature the new offering.

The foodhall at the Warren Road store brings Waitrose’s wide range of high-quality food, grocery products, and everyday essentials.

Shoppers at Dobbies’ Brighton can choose from an extensive selection of products including the Essential Waitrose range, which is the biggest value tier of any supermarket, plus its premium range - Waitrose No. 1 - and Waitrose Duchy Organic. Ready meals, free-from and vegan ranges, prepared fruit and vegetables, snacks and cupboard staples will also be available.

The Waitrose foodhall is one of more than 50 that are to be launched at Dobbies’ stores across the UK and which will bring the supermarket brand to 20 new towns and cities.

Graeme Jenkins, CEO of Dobbies, said: “As we continue to build on the success of our foodhalls, Waitrose was the natural grocery partner as they share our commitment to great value, quality and sustainability. We look forward to welcoming shoppers in Brighton to our new-look foodhall.”

The first Waitrose to open in Dobbies was in Edinburgh.
