Record sales weeks are being reported as we travel the country meeting teams for The Greatest Christmas Awards.
By the middle of next week over 140 garden centres will have been visited by one of The Greatest Christmas Awards experts – a record entry for our pretisgious event.
Without doubt, the teamwork and creativity that has gone into Christmas 2014 is amazing and there are plenty of customers leaving garden centres with beaming smiles and baskets of products.
The GTN Bestsellers aggregated Epos data shows the first week of December as the third highest week of the year for volume sales, but with two weekends left until Christmas we could reach higher levels still before the end of the year.
