E. P. Barrus garden team gets North-west and Midlands sales manager

E.P. Barrus has appointed Gary Bowness as area sales manager for the North-west and Midlands.

Gary brings more than 15 years of sales experience, specifically with key brands in garden tools, gloves and accessories.

Barrus continues to expand following the additional warehouse space taken at the beginning of the year and additional merchandisers to support garden centres. Mark Hewett, divisional sales manager, said: “Our priority is to continue to provide our customers with high levels of support and excellent service."

The past year has seen a significant increase in the availability of brands including Town & Country, Wilkinson Sword, WOLF-Garten, WD40 and Energizer and the successful launch of more than 150 new products at Glee last year.

New products from Wilkinson Sword, WOLF-Garten and Town & Country will be announced at this year's Glee (stand 7J30-L31).
