As World Cup media coverage builds GTN’s intrepid team of Greatest Christmas Awards judges have started their tours to visit great teams at 100 nominated garden centres and found this topical red and white Christmas display at Summerhill in Essex.
The first days Christmas judging for GTN's Features Editor, Anisa Gress, and GTN Editor Trevor Pfeiffer and the day included a journey through the Christmas decades at Perrywood, meeting a very competitive team at BGC Braintree, Bavarian curling at Meadowcroft, an England World Cup Christmas display at Summerhill and a surprise visit to see Santa at Alton Garden Centre.
Andy Campbell started with judging visits in Cornwall, Steve Myatt has his Christmas jumper ready for visits in the North West, Roger Crookes is heading south towards Hastings and awards coordinators Neil & Nicci Gow are all set for a full week of visits next week in Wales and the Midlands.
In total we’ve had a record 100 centres nominated for The Greatest Christmas Awards 2022 and we will be visiting them all to meet their wonderful teams between now and the middle of December.
