Record sales for growing media
What a great week for growing media sales! Up 20% week on week and posting a record Top 50 sales volume for February.
All of the Top 10 lines increased sales with multipurpose composts and manure the big volume lines.
We’re still to see any of the new for 2017 growing media lines in the chart but we have witnessed the first sales volumes come through for Westlands Smart Cover. Will that be the big new growing media line for the year?
This week’s highlights were:
- Westland John Innes No3 Mature Plants (35 litres) was the highest climber, moving up 20 places to No 17.
- Scotts Levington Original Gro-bag was the highest re-entry at No 26.
- Another product returning to the Top 50 was Westland Decorative Mini Bark (70 litres).
