Sad news reached the GTN office at the start of the year that Kenny McClean, Torwood Garden Centres longest serving ember of staff passed away suddenly on Christmas Day.

John Stevenson told GTN Xtra: "We are all still very shocked at Torwood with the sudden passing of Kenny. Nearly 35 years as a colleague and friend.

"He leaves a wife, Clare, step children and grand children.  

"He had been unwell a couple of days prior to Christmas but nothing to suggest this. There will be a post mortem this week and funeral expected end of January."
