What a bumper start of March plant sales! While sales dropped from the previous week, which included part of half term, the GTN Bestsellers All Plants sales index reached its highest level for the first week of March.
Pelargoniums, which include Zonal Geraniums, jumped in sales by 71% as young plants were scooped up. That moved them up to be the third most popular plant already.
Lathyrus, sweet pea, sales saw the biggest percentage increase up by 170% to re-enter the chart.
All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 13.3%. Year to date vs 2018 UP 32.2%, vs 2017 UP 33.3%.
