Highfield Garden World (above) has picked up the Best Garden Centre Retailer of Greeting Cards (Independent) at the prestigious RETAS Greeting Card Retail Awards.
The winners were announced at an awards event on Thursday 6 July 2023 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Longacres took the award for the Best Garden Centre Retailer of Greeting Cards (Multiple or Group).
Tim Armstrong from Highfield Garden World, said; “It is a huge honour for the team at Highfield to win this award, especially as we were up against some other outstanding garden centres in the UK. We work closely with both our buying group, Choice Marketing, and our card supplier Woodmansterne and our aim is to try and offer a fantastic display and selection of cards for all of our customers. We are delighted that Highfield, through Woodmansterne, has been recognised for all the hard work that has gone into this department."
Woodmansterne sales director Andy Paterson praised the Highfield team for the award, saying: “They are really passionate about cards and I saw how excited they were about winning. They just missed out last year by all accounts so to be even better a year on is fantastic. They’re such nice people and really deserve the recognition.”
