Notcutts is looking to appoint a new person to its plant buying team.

Mark Wootton, from Notcutts, said: "We are looking to invest in more buying expertise and horsepower in our plant buying team to support and work alongside Colin Dale, our Senior Buyer.

"We are thus recruiting for this new appointment and seeking someone from within the sector – either supplier or retailer – who can bring with them the energy and knowledge to take our most important department to a new level for Spring 2015.

"We have invested heavily in benching, visual merchandising as well as training for the garden centre team this spring with good success and need to move on again for next year as part of our strategic focus.

"This position would be Woodbridge-based although travel would be needed to our 18 garden centres as well as suppliers across the country."
