Broadcaster and ocean adventurer Monty Halls has ben added to the line-up of speakers at the HTA’s Contact 2015 ‘Growing Opportunities’ conference in the New Year.
The conference, whose delegates will be from the the nursery stock industry and associated sectors, takes place on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 January 2015 at JCB Global Headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire. An advanced booking discount is available to those who sign up by 7 January. The event also features a tour of the JCB factory.
Monty Halls, a former Royal Marine and an inspirational speaker on leadership, will offer a dynamic, thought-provoking and light hearted look at the extraordinary things people and teams will do when pressure is applied. His experience covers more than two decades of leading teams in some of Earth’s most remote environments, presenting wildlife and adventure documentaries, and working with blue-chip companies in the UK and overseas.
The conference dinner takes place on the evening of 14 January at the Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport, and will feature charity fundraising for Perennial.
Delegates can choose from four workshop sessions to attend on theThursday. Topics include “Making Horticulture Attractive” and “Understanding the value of Research”.
