Growing media sales bounced back well and truly last week, up by 42%, even with a days less trading.

Compared with 2017 when Easter was at the same time, the GTN Bestsellers Growing Media Top 50 sales volume for 2022 is up by 12%.

Highlights of the week were:

• Evergreen Garden Care Levington Multi Purpose Compost 40 litres saw the biggest percentage sales growth week on week, up by 273% and moving up to No 4 in the GTN chart.
• Westland Decorative Mini Bark 70 litres is the highest chart re-entry of the week, back in at No 36.
• The Real Soil Company Super Soil Garden Topsoil 25 litres moved up eight places to No 40 on the back of a 66% week on week sales increase.
