As the announcement came out on Wednesday about the 31 Wyevale Centres sold to Dobbies, the GTN team were checking their list to update the ones still to be sold and it's a good job we didn't print our speculation as to which ones Dobbies would be snapping up. We'd have only go 60%! How did you do?
Now after the biggest single deal of the Wyevale "Sale of the Century" there are 59 still to be sold ranging from Tunbridge Wells at £5 million to Wimborne at £200,000.
We saw reported in the financial press that the Dobbies deal may have been worth £135m which means there may be some bulk discounts on offer as the "Offers based on" price as listed by Christie & Co for the 31 centres totalled £163m.
At the "Offers based on" price Terra Firma have now achieved sales of £357 million for their investors in the TFCPIII fund. That's just £3 million short of the deal when they bought Wyevale Garden Centres back in 2012.
The big question now is what will happen to the remaining centres, listed below. Do let us know your views on the future of Wyevale Garden Centres, e-mail: trevor.pfeiffer@tgcmc.co.uk
