SealStop to make Glee debut as hosepipe bans spark surge in demand for water-saving products

SealStop, the clever British-made automatic shut-off valve designed to eliminate water waste and save gardeners time, is set to make its debut at Glee 2025 (16th – 18th September, NEC Birmingham).

As hosepipe bans and water restrictions return across the country following the driest start to a year since 1976, SealStop arrives at exactly the right moment. Retailers attending Glee will have the opportunity to discover this smart, user-friendly device first-hand, speak to the team behind it, and secure stock ahead of the 2026 season, when consumer demand for practical water-saving tools is expected to spike.

What is SealStop?

SealStop attaches to a hosepipe and clips on to any container, from watering cans and buckets to troughs and ponds. Once the container is full, it automatically shuts off the flow of water, preventing overflow and eliminating waste. It’s a time-saving solution that allows gardeners to multitask confidently, knowing their water use is under control.

“SealStop is all about convenience,” explains Isabelle Richardson of SealStop. “It means your watering can or bucket will be full and ready when you need it, without the worry of flooding or waste. Especially during droughts or hosepipe bans, it becomes an essential tool for sustainable watering routines.”

Maximising retail opportunity

Visitors to Glee will be able to see SealStop in action, try it for themselves, and understand exactly how the product supports both customer needs and retail margins. Stockists can expect shelf-ready, fully recyclable packaging, along with strong point-of-sale support. This includes a branded CDU display, demo units, staff training options and access to digital assets like videos, imagery and explainers for online and social channels. The brand is also developing a free-standing display with integrated video support for retailers looking to drive visibility in high-footfall areas.

Already rated “Excellent” on Trustpilot, early customers have praised SealStop’s reliability, simple design and game-changing functionality. It’s particularly popular among gardeners filling large containers, topping up ponds or water butts, or working with multiple watering cans at once.

With a minimum order quantity of just 12 units, SealStop is an accessible opportunity for both independents and larger chains alike. Manufactured and assembled in the UK, lead times are short, and stock is held locally, making fulfilment smooth and responsive.

As the brand looks ahead to the 2026 season, new developments are already in the pipeline, including a specialised holder designed to make SealStop even easier to use with hot tubs, ice baths and larger outdoor containers.

Retailers interested in stocking SealStop or learning more are encouraged to visit the team at Glee 2025 in hall 9, stand K97. Alternatively drop the team a line via www.sealstop.co.uk or info@sealstop.co.uk
