Wild Bird Care sales suffered last week as the heatwave deterred people from thinking about looking after the wildlife in their gardens. 

Maybe we should ask the BBC to extend springwatch into summerwatch so that there are programmes to drive sales throughout the year!

• Westland Peckish Complete 12.75kg was the highest climber, up to No 24.
• Gardman Sunflower Hearts 12.75kg saw a 200% increase to re-enter at No 33.
• Tom Chambers Giant Insect Suet Log was the only new entry, in at No 47.
