Changes at the top for Bon Bon’s

Luxury confectionery business, Bon Bon’s Wholesale Ltd, has announced a change in its senior management team with the appointment of two new joint managing directors.

Kirsty Firth and Ben Yates will take the helm at the Tockwith-based business, which includes hf Chocolate, while former managing director Steve Campbell has returned to sales. Both Kirsty and Ben are promoted from within the business, Kirsty from Head of Customer Services and Ben from Head of Sales.

Kirsty has been with the company for 15 years, continuously focused on delivering the absolute best service for customers. Since joining the company in 2007, Kirsty has gained experience across all departments that will help her to manage the operation at the business’s head office.

Ben joined Bon Bon’s as a territory account manager in 2013. Having run the sales operation for the past 4 years, Ben has extensive knowledge of customers’ needs and the markets the business operates in.

Both Kirsty and Ben are Bon Bon’s through-and-through and will be working hard with the wider team to progress the company vision, strengthen supplier relationships and deliver sales growth for our customers in the years ahead.

Steve remains at Bon Bon’s as account manager for the North East and will lead the business’ sustainability and packaging projects. his service for the company has been exceptional during incredibly challenging times including the impact of Brexit, the covid pandemic and the recent move to our new premises at Moorside, Tockwith. Steve’s departure has been a planned process which will help avoid any instability during the change.

Bon Bon’s is part of the family-owned Lanchester Group whose CEO is Tony Cleary: “We recognised the change of leadership needed to be well thought through to ensure the continuation of the culture, values and business principles, which in our view, are the main driver of our success. We deliberately chose to recruit internally to ensure consistent progression in our business aims and objectives.

“Steve steered the business through an extremely tumultuous period and guided it exceptionally well. We are delighted he is staying within the business.

Bon Bon’s (Wholesale) Ltd provides luxury confectionery for high-end independent retailers and visitor attractions, and in 2019 purchased hf Chocolates, a leading importer, distributor and wholesaler of fine chocolates and novelties.
