It was a real British family affair for the Bulldog Tools company at Glee with several generations represented on its attractive stand.
Bulldog Tools is a true family-run company which has been manufacturing and supplying British-made gardening tools since 1780 in Wigan.
So it was fitting that the three families that now own the company were represented by sales director Ed White (2nd generation) and Penny Elsom (5th generation).
Sarah Cottle, head of brand and PR, said: “Bulldog is very proud of its British heritage, and the fact it is a family-run business, so it’s great to have both Ed and Penny on the stand at Glee.”
Bulldog’s considerable range includes the Premier and Pedigree brands, which encompass spades, shovels, forks, hoes, rakes and cutting tools, all made to the highest standards and with unique heritage.
“The Premier range has had a phenomenal year and is still as popular as ever,” said Sarah. “This range is for the more experienced and professional gardener, who love the fact these tools are strong and made to last.
“The Pedigree brand is increasing in popularity, and we are beginning to the benefits of this lighter tool range.
“We had a very good Glee with visitors to our stand showing a lot of interest in both brands.”
