BALI presented Greenfingers, one of its 2018 charity partners, with a donation of £2,741 at its annual awards attended by more than 1,000 in London.

Each year BALI selects a different charity to benefit from its members’ generosity on awards night. The £5,483 raised was split between Greenfingers and the BALI Chalk Fund.

Linda Petrons, director of fundraising and communications at Greenfingers Charity, said: “Being selected as BALI’s 2018 beneficiary charity was a great honour, and we are beyond grateful to all those that dug deep and helped to raise such an incredible amount of money. Rest assured, the funds raised will make a huge difference and will enable us to build gardens that provide a quiet retreat, a place of remembrance or simply a place to stop and rest.”
