Emily joins Wyevale Nurseries as HR Manager

Emily Wright from Martley on the Worcestershire-Herefordshire boarder has joined one of the UK’s leading commercial nurseries as its HR Manager.

In her role at Wyevale Nurseries, which is based in Hereford, Emily will manage and develop successful HR strategies that help the company to achieve its goals.

Thirty-five-year-old Emily, who previously worked as an Engagement Manager for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) group, said: “I am thrilled to have joined the team at Wyevale Nurseries.

“Before making the decision to move from London to Martley, I worked in the financial industry. I have experience working as a Senior Level Executive Assistant for RBS. This role involved supporting senior management and line managers across a broad scope of HR employee relation issues. More latterly, my role at the RBS Group included delivering on reward and recognition projects, as well as wellbeing incentives.

“Within my new role at Wyevale Nurseries, I’m lucky to have the support of some very experienced and skilled managers, who really care about their staff and are keen to ensure everyone can meet their full potential.

“I will also be taking on the overall responsibility for training within Wyevale Nurseries and working closely with line managers to ensure that we meet our statutory requirements.”

Emily graduated from Manchester University in 2005 with a 2.1 in Economics and Social Anthropology. More recently she undertook her CIPD in Human Resource Management.

In her spare time, the mum-of-two enjoys horse riding and running. She has completed several marathons including London, Paris and Berlin.

Andy Johnson, Managing Director of Wyevale Nurseries, said: “We’re delighted to have Emily join our team. She has settled in extremely well and brings with her experience within large global organisations.”
