Top 50 Growing Media sales for March finished 80% up on 2018’s Beast from the East inspired low to be the second highest March volume over the past six years.
Only March 2017 delivered higher sales, however after the good sales in February this year the year to date at the end of the first quarter shows Growing Media Bestsellers volumes at 8.2% up on 2017.
That’s a lot of extra growing activity going on that we should be able to benefit from later in the year!
Highlights were:
Westland New Horizon All Plant Compost, 50 litres, increased sales by 180% to re-enter at No 34, joining the 60 litre pack which increased sales by 80% and jumped to No 15.
Evergreen Garden Care Levington Multipurpose + John Innes 56 litres continues at No 1.
Westland Tomato Planter, 60 litres, is the highest re-entry at No 25.
