Everything you need to know about parking at Glee

As usual, parking is free for all exhibitors, contractors and visitors. This year the NEC has introduced a new parking system to improve car park security, so here's what's changed and what you need to do.

Pre-book to skip the queue

For the smoothest arrival and departure, we're asking exhibitors to pre-book their parking for build-up, show days and breakdown using the code GLEE26EXB at NEC Birmingham exhibitor parking. You can do this any time up until midnight the day before you arrive. Once booked, the barrier reads your number plate automatically. No badge scanning, no stopping at the gate.

Covering build-up and breakdown

Book for the full event (8, 9 and 10 September) and you'll automatically get free parking from 96 hours before the show starts through to 48 hours after it ends. We'd recommend every exhibitor books the full event, even if you're only bringing your vehicle for a day or two.

Note: vehicles left onsite after 2am may incur additional charges. Overnight parking is available, but only if you select it during your original booking.

Didn't pre-book?

No problem. Drive in as normal, then scan the QR code on your exhibitor badge at the barrier on your way out. Please have your badge ready to scan as you leave the car park to ensure delays are kept to a minimum. NEC staff will be on hand if you run into any issues.

Good to know

  • Blue Badge parking is available
  • Shuttle buses run from all car parks to the main hall during show hours
  • Making a delivery? You'll still need to book your vehicle to offload at the rear of the hall through Voyage Control. See your Exhibitor Manual for details

Please note: the bridge on the northern side of the M42 Junction 6 roundabout is closed until at least the end of September. The NEC remains fully open with signed diversion routes in place, but please allow extra time for your journey – particularly when leaving site.
