Agapanthus africanus 'Su Casa'

Agapanthus africanus 'Su Casa' is the blue variation of Agapanthus africanus 'Mi Casa'. 'Su Casa' produces 2 to 3 flowers on each leaf sprout, this ensures that on a P9 the plant already produces 7 to 8 flowers, and as an end product in C2/C3 it is a sea of flowers! Its compact growth habit (maximum 60 cm high incl. flower) also makes Agapanthus africanus 'Su Casa' a great addition logistically. This cultivar was selected from more than 20,000 seedlings in Belgium. The breeding process focused on as many flower stems as possible and at the same time a plant that fills the pot quickly and is healthy. The plant is won by Agapanthus BV from Aalter (Belgium), plant breeders' rights protection has been requested. Van Vliet New Plants BV from Stroe submitted the plant for the novelty inspection.
