Cheers for Easter veg sales – up by 20%

Veg-2-Gro sales volumes keep soaring to new heights. Last week’s Top 50 volumes were the highest for the third week of April since 2015 and were 20% higher than 2017 when Easter was at the same time.

Plants from Cheers Nurseries accounted for seven of the Top 10 Veg-2-Gro lines last week with Cucumber Female Femspot 9cm just edging out Tomato Gardeners Delight 9cm for the No.1 spot.

Highlights of the week were:

Cheers Courgette Ambassador 9cm is a new entry at No 26.
Quantil’s Grafted Cucumber Derby 10cm is the highest placed grafted veg plant re-entry at No 41.
Retail Solutions Rosemary Officinalis 14cm is the highest placed herb plant, moving up 16 places to No 34.
