Andy Strachan, a veteran of the home, garden and pet industry, has announced his retirement after 37 years of service.
Andy began his career working for Erin Marketing and Richard Grimmer during the late 1980’s, where he would go on to sell compost, barbecues, hanging baskets, furniture, and more.
With the founding of LeisureGrow in 1999 (which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year), Andy was instrumental in the rapid growth of the business through his unwavering dedication to his customers and an unparalleled expertise for the industry.
His commitment to excellence is evident in every customer interaction, fostering trust and long-term relationships, as well as inspiring a positive and collaborative spirit between his colleagues.
Andy plans to spend his retirement between Marlow next to the rolling Chiltern hills, and with his daughter and family in Morzine on the border of France and Switzerland.
Richard Grimmer, Chairman of LeisureGrow Products LTD, said: “Andy’s retirement is a well-deserved rest to a lifetime of service. While we are all sad to see him leave, he will always be part of the LeisureGrow family.”
