FCL Global Forwarding confirmed as GIMA Awards headline sponsor
With the annual GIMA Awards just weeks away, final preparations are now underway. However, the event would be nothing without the support of its sponsors.
This year FCL Global Forwarding – a multi-model logistics provider specialising in moving products for customers by sea, air, road and rail – is celebrating its fourth year as headline sponsors of one of the garden retail industry’s most popular events.
Paul O’Malley, Commercial Director at FCL Global Forwarding said: “The garden retail industry is a pivotal part of our business, so it’s great to be able to give back through our ongoing sponsorship of the GIMA Awards. The awards themselves are a fantastic way of celebrating the best the industry has to offer, and it’s a pleasure to be part of this. The evening also provides a great opportunity to network with both new and potential clients. For us, the awards really are not to be missed.”
Joining FCL Global Forwarding as headline sponsors in 2017 will be Glee, the UK’s largest annual trade event for the garden and outdoor living industry.
The awards also benefit greatly from the ongoing support of the individual category sponsors. This year the following companies have confirmed their support of the GIMA Awards:
The Garden Centre Association
Gardenex
MorePeople
The HTA
PTMD Collection
Hornby Whitefoot PR
Maryanne Stokes
Garden Centre Update, Garden Trade News, Garden Radio (The Garden Communication & Media Company), and Gardenforum.co.uk are also confirmed as media partners of the 2017 event.
GIMA director, Vicky Nuttall, said: “As always our thanks go to all our sponsors for their continued support. A special thank you to FCL Global Forwarding for their continued support. It’s fantastic to have them on board once again, and I look forward to Paul joining me on stage in just a few short weeks to help crown the winners of the 2017 Sword of Excellence.”
