96% of stand space sold for Glee in September

With just under three months to go before it opens its doors to visitors, Glee is gearing up for its biggest and best shows for years, with 96% of stand space now sold.

And GTN Xtra understands that Glee organisers are looking to expand the show footprint in order to accommodate even more exhibitors as demand to attend September's showpiece grows.

This year’s show – which will be celebrating its 40th year – will be unlike any other Glee in recent history. A new location, refreshed content and a wealth of lapsed companies and big name brands will come together to create the strongest showcase for the garden retail industry to be found anywhere.

Event manager Matthew Mein said: "The changes that are taking place have certainly ignited the industry’s enthusiasm for the show. We are well on track to delivering our busiest and most inspiring show yet."

New exhibitors confirmed this week include STV Pest Control, and Bon Marche, the well-known high street retailer looking to build its presence in garden centres via concessions.
