Walmart – the world’s largest retailer – has opened a new office in London to support the growing number of British businesses selling to US consumers via Walmart.com – Walmart’s dedicated online marketplace. To mark the occasion, all GIMA members are invited to attend a free, face-to-face launch event in central London on Tuesday 9th September.

The event will give GIMA members the opportunity to:

• Connect with Walmart Marketplace’s new UK team and fellow suppliers
• Explore the latest seller innovations unveiled at Walmart’s U.S. Seller Summit
• Gain valuable insights into building a successful omnichannel presence in the U.S.
• Share experiences and ideas with other businesses considering expansion into the U.S. market

Helping British brands succeed in the US
Walmart has made it significantly easier for UK and European companies to access the U.S. market, allowing businesses to register with a UK entity, manage accounts via a new Seller App, and protect intellectual property through the Brand Portal. Sellers can also take advantage of flexible fulfilment services, ship goods directly from Asia into Walmart warehouses, and access a growing network of solution providers for compliance, integration and logistics. The launch of the London office further strengthens Walmart’s commitment to supporting British brands on their journey to the U.S.
