Family-owned garden centre group, Notcutts, has announced a new and improved compost formula designed to deliver even better growing results, launching nationwide across its 19 garden centres and online from February 2026.

The Notcutts branded Multi-Purpose Compost with added John Innes will offer customers a new and improved formulation, enriched for healthier plant growth and peat-free. The key benefit is added John Innes to improve overall compost structure, moisture retention and nutrient stability which will support their customer’s seedlings, potted flowers, hanging baskets, and fruit and vegetable plants.
