The Garden Centre Group continues to re-structure its senior management

The big re-structure of The Garden Centre Group's senior management scheme continues at a pace with a number of regional managers set to leave the business.

GTN Xtra understands that the latest departures have been announced internally with seven regional managers – Peter Burks, Chris Francis, Paul Dye, James Cockerell, Paul Wright, Simon Baker  and Martin Andrews – going although they are due to have final redundancy meetings before the end of this month.

TGCG is replacing its regional managers with five regional directors, including Melanie Evans, who is now overseeing Garden & Leisure bought in the summer.

GTN Xtra has already reported that senior buyer Tristan Sissons, pet buyer Melanie Malin, training head Tom Martell, buying director Steve Pitcher and plant buyer Adam Dunnett will also leave the company.

TGCG has told GTN Xtra that it will not comment externally on HR matters.
