Mr Fothergill's go green for Garden Re-Leaf Day

With a team of seven walkers on the Greenfingers Garden Re-Leaf Walk, staff back in the Mr Fothergill’s offices and seed rooms didn’t want to be outdone and came to work wearing some kind of green to support the charity day.

Contributions to the cause were made by those who wore green and by those who chose not to! An array of cakes were also made and purchased for Greenfingers.

By the end of the day the figure raised by Mr Fothergill’s was over £3,300 and still rising.

Mr Fothergill’s joint MD, David Carey, commented: “It’s great that the whole Mr Fothergill’s team wanted to get involved supporting Greenfingers. It’s such a magnificent cause and we’re pleased to do our bit. On a personal level my legs wish I had dressed up in the office rather than do the walk!”

David continued: “It doesn’t end on Garden Re-Leaf Day as sales of the company’s Greenfingers sweet pea contribute 25p to the charity for every packet sold throughout the year."
