New Glee website provides 365 resource

Glee has benefitted from a revamped website (www.gleebirmingham.com), which will place product at the forefront whilst also offering better access to the show’s exhibitors and features.

Created to better reflect the changes that are taking place at the annual garden retail exhibition, the new website will feature more content than ever before.  Product is one area which is set to take centre stage.  The homepage will now feature regular product updates, and will be the first place to source the latest exhibitor product news.  Imagery and photography will feature heavily, with an exciting ‘buying tool’ offering a new and interactive element. This new live chart will showcase the top 100 most viewed products on the site, with the chart constantly updating as more and more products are viewed.

i2i’s Matthew Mein, Glee event director said: “The new live product chart is an exciting addition to the website and one which I hope will encourage greater interaction with the site from both suppliers and retailers.

"The chart will be constantly changing, and we believe this will provide a barometer of sorts, in that it showcases which products – from the hundreds and thousands on offer from Glee’s 500+ exhibitors – are appealing the most to our visitors.”

From a shorter registration form, to a more streamline design, it has never been easier to access info about Glee and its exhibitors. What’s more, the website has been designed to be used as 365 day resource, thanks to the new focus on innovation and product.

Matthew added: “It’s not just exhibitors that can benefit from the enhanced website - it also has a number of features that make it even easier for visitors to find what they are looking for.  The website brings Glee directly to their doorstop, helping them to source suppliers, find new products and contact exhibitors directly.

"The website marks a really exciting opportunity for both us and our exhibitors. We really hope that exhibitors will invest the time needed to optimise their online profile.

"We’ve already seen many exhibitors reaping the rewards of having an improved profile and expect that many others to see the benefits of the service as well.”
