Bubble and squeak on the menu for GYO fans

Christmas potatoes and green veg are dominating Veg-2-Gro sales at the moment.

Autumn planting seed potatoes from Taylors fill the top five places in the Bestsellers chart with Maris Piper taking over top spot from Casablanca. The other three varieties are Duke of York, Charlotte and Catriona.

Quantil’s green veg has seen increases in sales with Spinach and Curly Kale making chart reappearances.

Carrots are also proving popular with Quantil Chantenay in the Top 10 and Suttons Speedy Seeds Carrot Ideal being the highest re-entry.

The highest climber is Hawkesmill Strawberry Loran, moving up 30 places, and the highest new entry is Taylors Indoor Metal Herb Kit Tray.

There are 10 lettuce/leafy salad lines in the chart, headed by Quantil Lettuce Winter Cos. Thompson & Morgan Lettuce Salad Leaves Mixed re-enters the chart after a 100% increase in sales, a place above Suttons Lettuce Tom Thumb.

Another notable re-entry is Farplants Wasabi Japanese Horseradish.
