10 Greenfingers Charity supporters to tackle the 2025 London Landmarks Half Marathon

The London Landmarks Half Marathon may be eight weeks away, but for 10 dedicated fundraisers, the training is now well underway. This year, runners from Poplars Garden Centre, SBM Life Science, and Evergreen Garden Care will take on the challenging course, all in support of the Greenfingers Charity.

Taking place on Sunday 6th April, this year’s Greenfingers’ runners will be Jack Goodhand, Mal Walker, Claire Walker, Adam Parke, Sam Passingham, Kate Richardson, Debbie Watson, Colin Stephens, Karen Wilkinson, and James Davies.

Together these 10 runners will each look to complete the 13-mile route whilst helping to raise much needed funds for Greenfingers. All monies raised will allow the charity to create even more therapeutic garden spaces at children’s hospices across the country.

Launched in 2014, the London Landmarks Half Marathon has been set up to shine a spotlight on not just London’s iconic landmarks, but also its quirky hidden gems. The route - which this year starts on Whitehall and ends at the historic Westminster – takes in such landmarks as the London Eye, Big Ben, Downing Street, the world’s smallest police station, the largest grasshopper, plus Guy Fawkes’ house and so much more. In 2025 over 20,000 runners are expected to participate, making it the biggest London Landmarks Half Marathon so far!

To keep runners motivated, the route will also be adorned with musical performances, DJs, dancers and themed cheer stations, including a floral themed Greenfingers one!  All roads will remain closed for the duration of the race.
