Plant sales really kicked into gear last week, more than doubling in volume to match mid-October levels. All but Cyclamen in the GTN Top 50 increased their sales week on week with Primula dominating once again.
Primula sales grew by 130% to stay in the No 1 spot but their share of total plant sales dropped to 42% as many other genus came into stock and started selling through.
Pelargonium lead the way in plug plant sales re-entering the chart at No 9.
Tulip sales give them a leap up 20 places to No 8 as beds indicate a promise of early colour.
The popularity of Fuchsias to grow on at home means they re-enter at No 19.
