Cyclamen outsell pansies by three to one
Plant sales were just about on parity week on week with last year, not a bad performance considering the continual wet weather.
Cyclamen sales for the week were up by 18%, growing their lead at the top of the chart with three times the sales volumes of Pansies at No 2.
- Poinsettias climbed 7 places to No 7.
- Potted Hyacinth’s moved up from No 44 to No 25.
- Celosias are providing splashes of winter colour, re-entering at No 26.
- All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 16.9%. Year to date vs 2018 DOWN 6.6%, vs 2017 UP 0.7%.
