Path Weedkiller's seal of approval

Garden retailers wanting to provide customers with effective products can refer to the Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) for accurate and detailed information.

As well as being recognised as an effective systemic weedkiller, Path Weedkiller is the only product on the market with CRD approval to state it keeps paths clear of weeds for up to six months.

The CRD, which is a part of the Health and Safety Executive, is responsible for providing regulatory approval for all garden chemical products in the UK.  Manufacturers can only make claims relating to a product’s efficacy if it has been approved by the CRD, such authorisation being provided following rigorous laboratory and field tests.

“We are extremely proud of Path Weedkiller, the only product on the market that has CRD approval to state it keeps paths clear of weeds for more than three months,” said Alison Mulvaney, product manager at Bayer Garden.

“Path Weedkiller is also fast acting, results can be seen within three days; is rainfast within one hour; it also kills moss and tackles difficult weeds including horsetail.”
