Half term sales set course for a record February GTN Bestsellers analysis
Garden centre volume sales in the GTN Bestsellers weekly EPOS data soared by almost double week on week during half term to set the highest ever recorded sales level for Week 7 and set the course for a record breaking February.
Cumulative sales for the first three weeks of the month are 5% up on last year and with another week of great gardening weather this week we should be able to report on a new record being set in next week’s GTN Bestsellers.
And just look at all of the GTN Bestsellers sales indeces for last week, massively up year on year:
GTN Bestsellers Top 50 sales volumes compared to the same week last year: week 7.
Garden Products Top 50 – up 80%
Growing Media Top 50 – up 175%
Veg 2 Gro Top 50 – up 105%
Wild Bird & Wildlife Care Top 50 – up 80%

All Items with Barcode index – up 56%
