In the pink as Rose Festivals continue
Dianthus and Rose sales both saw significant increases on the same week last year as garden centre planterias are looking radiant in the summer sun.
Dianthus sales jumped 31% week on week to be 75% higher than 2017 while Roses were 59% higher on last year.
Hihglights were:
- The Dainthus sales increase sees them climb four places to No 2, just behind those Pelargoniums and Zonal Geraniums which hold onto the No 1 spot.
- Veronica are the highest chart climber, up 21 places.
- Delphinium are the highest places re-entry – back in at No 33.
