How will growing media sales trends change following the ITV programme on Thursday night? Last week the biggest selling peat free compost line was Westland New Horizon All Purpose compost, but that was at No 11. 

At present customers are voting with their purchases and choosing lines that include peat on a bigger scale. Watch this space for reaction and any possible shifts after this weekend.

Highlights of the week were:

• Westland Landscape Bark, 100 litres, climbs up 23 places to be No 18.
• Evergreen Levington Multi-Purpose Compost, 50 litres, is the highest re-entry at No 28
• Westland New Horizon All Plant Organic Compost, 20 litres, is the second highest peat free compost line at No 24.
