Quality audience shines through at Classiflora Open Days
The wind, rain and fears over Coronavirus didn't deter buyers from attending and spending at the Classiflora Open Days last week.
Buyers from Blue Diamond, British Garden Centres, Whitehall, Langlands, Chessington, Perrywood, Kings and many more garden centres had been buying specimen plants by the time GTN Xtra attended the event on Thursday.
Classifloras Andrew Dayes told GTN Xtra: "We maintained sales levels to last year, less attendance but the quality audience shines through."
Amongst the buyers on Thursday was James Debbage of Green Pastures near Norwich. A first time attendee at the Open Days James ordered a selection of large plants that he feels will allow him to differentiate from his local competitors. "We'll be selling these with the great range of pots we stock to allow customers to make statement on their patios this summer."
