Compost sales continue to grow
The steady growth of compost sales continues this week with 43 products in the GTN Bestsellers Growing Media chart showing increases in sales compared to the previous week.
Total volumes are up by nearly 14% on the same week last year but still lagging behind 2012.
A star performer is Westland Multipurpose with John Innes, the highest new entry at No 36.
Other star performers in the Growing Media chart include: - Scotts Levington Decorative Chipped Bark, 60 litres
- Arthur Bowers Topsoil 25 litres
- Scotts Miracle-Gro All Purpose Compost, 56 litres
- Westland Lawn Seeding Soil, 30 litres
