Greenfingers backs new ‘Challenge for Change’ initiative
Will you take part to support the charity?

The Greenfingers Charity is supporting the launch of Challenge for Change, an inspiring new initiative that invites individuals, groups, and businesses across the UK to take on personal challenges in aid of a charity of their choice.

The campaign, which launched recently at www.challengeforchange.org.uk, is designed to empower people to set their own goals - whether fitness-based, creative, lifestyle-related or completely unique – and use their efforts to raise money for a cause close to their heart. With participants free to choose which organisation benefits from their challenge, the Greenfingers Charity is encouraging its supporters to consider fundraising for its ongoing work in creating therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices nationwide.

Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Greenfingers Charity, said: “Challenge for Change is a fantastic initiative that puts the emphasis on personal motivation and the power of community. We’re excited to be part of something that gives people the freedom to support causes they’re passionate about and we hope that many will choose to support Greenfingers as part of their challenge. Every pound raised will help us to build another generation of more magical outdoor spaces for life-limited children and their families that call thee hospices ‘home’.

“I’d also like to express our thanks to the Challenge for Change team for reaching out to tell us more about this initiative and allowing Greenfingers to be part of the action. We are sure it’ll become a key part of our annual fundraising efforts.”

From daily walks and fitness milestones to giving up habits or learning new skills, Challenge for Change is open to everyone. The flexible format allows participants to be as ambitious or creative as they like, with the central aim of making a positive impact for a chosen charity.

Anyone wishing to take part can sign up via www.challengeforchange.org.uk.

Once registered, participants can set their challenge, select their chosen charity, and begin fundraising. Good luck to all involved!
