Rhubarb Timperly Early is a big seller this week

Rhubarb has come to the fore in Veg-2-Gro sales volumes this week, re-entering the chart with bang as it goes straight to top spot. It mirrors what happened in the same week last year when Allensmore Rhubarb Timperly Early also topped the chart.

Overall the Top 50 veg sales are down year on year. We predict this will change next week when the full range of young veg plants come into stock.  KinderGarden Tomato Gardeners Delight (4 cell plugs) is an early Top 50 re-entry this week.

Gardeners are certainly preparing for the veg growing season and are buying seeds.

Beetroot Boltardy seeds from Thompson & Morgan and Suttons are highly placed in the Veg-2-Gro chart, while T&M’s Pea Jumbo and Runner Bean Tenderstar are both new entries.

T&M also have the highest climber in Basil Outdoor (above), jumping 29 places.

Taylors Seed Potatoes Sarpo Axona have re-entered the chart after good sales.
