Plantarium expands

 In line with the theme of the trade fair "Show it!", Plantarium will be showing something of the planned layout of the 2017 event during this year's 34th edition.
A new presentation delivering atmosphere, experiences and inspiration will occupy around 3,000 m2 of additional exhibition space. Space will also be created on the existing footprint for the target groups tree nursery, floristry, public greenery and technology. Plantarium 2016 runs from 24 to 27 August 2016.
“Getting Active With Greenery."
A group of 15 experts have been invited by the Plantarium organisers to put their heads together and come up with creative ideas about our new "Getting Active With Greenery" project. The idea is that an interesting meeting place for professionals and non-professionals with a passion for greenery should be created during Plantarium each year. "Getting Active With Greenery" will be their source of information and inspiration. The ideas thrown up during the recent brainstorming session will be worked through and translated into a Plan of Action.
Product Range
The programme for the coming event will also be devoting attention to "Product Range", with collaboration and input from the Koninklijke Vereniging voor Boskoopse Culturen (KVBC).
KVBC board member Lendert de Vos and the Plantarium organisers have taken the initiative and have come up with a programme with appeal to nurserymen, agents and plant breeders.
Ticket to Boskoop
Thanks to our collaboration with partners like Groen-Direkt Boskoop, some 17,000 visitors found their way to the trade fairs held in Boskoop during 2015. Plenty of encouragement there for us to continue with the successful invitations policy introduced last year. With the expansion of the fair's floor space and the broadening out of the programme making the events even more attractive to visitors and stallholders, the organisers are aiming to hit a target of 20,000 visitors this year.
Registration
Early enrolment for the 34th Plantarium has been brisk, with 75% of the available stand space already reserved. We will be welcoming 10 new participants, including a number of growers, commercial enterprises and suppliers. Businesses registering before April 1st 2016 via www.plantarium.nl can be sure of their place. After that date the stands will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
