Skydive To Help Lilys Bucket List Dreams Come True

Hi I’m Evie, 

I am doing a skydive from 15,000 ft on the 25th of July, I am doing this in hope to raise money for my best friend Lily’s bucket list .  Lily is the kindest, bravest and happiest person I know, she has battled everything and kept going for so long, always with a smile on her face, no matter what life throws at her. 
Lily has suffered for most of her life with a very rare condition esonophillic panocolitis, and for the last 7 years, severe life threatening MULTI organ Faliure. Lily also suffers from Epilepsy, Chronic Intestinal Pseudo Obstruction, hemeplegic migraines, GORD and Hyper-mobility and more. 

Lily has spent many years of her life in great ormond street hospital. One admission even lasted a whole year! With lily only being able to go outside 4 times in that year. All of this has been a major contribution to her missing out on many aspects of her life. 

Unfortunately these last few months have been particularly difficult,  with Lily’s health rapidly deteriorating, this has lead Her to create a bucket list . Lily is kept alive by a central line into her heart and fed and given medications intravenously. While this is the thing that keeps lily alive it is also the thing slowly killing her. She relies on this line it’s her lifeline!  Without it she wouldn’t be here. Unfortunately this central line puts her at risk of getting life threatening sepsis, also life threatening blood clots. Lily has had 12 central lines placed over the past few years, leaving her with stenosis scarring in her arteries, this therefore means her access to these lines is becoming non existent and as you can quess without a line lily can not survive.

This news is why lily Is so passionate about her bucket list because she wants to make every second that she has count. As they are unsure as to how long lily has left. 

This bucket list is so important to lily, it will help her to achieve everything she wants too in life, within the time she has left. It will help to ensure all her hopes and dreams are completed and ensure that her last few months or years are spent doing all the things she loves and could have ever dreamt of. So I’m doing this sky dive to make sure that this is possible and to raise the money to make it all possible and make all her dreams come true and her last memories the most special!
