There’s much more growing going on, even in November
Even though it’s the middle of November, growing activity is running way ahead of normal for the time of year. GTN Bestsellers Growing Media products Top 50 sales volumes were up 27% on that same week last year and 26% up on 2013 levels.
That means our year to date volume index is up nearly 6%, more good news for gardening activity levels of interest for next year!
Star performers this week include:
- Arthur Bowers John Innes No 3 (25 litres) is the highest climber, moving up 23 places to No 21.
- Westland Gro-Sure Peat Free All Purpose Compost with 4 month feed (50 litres) is the highest re-entry at No 30
- Another product returning to the Top 50 is Shamrock Irish Moss Peat (75 litres).
- There’s no change at the top where Scotts Levington Multipurpose + John Innes (56 litres) is the bestselling item.
