Landmann Ltd bought by DS Group

Landmann’s parent company in Germany has been bought from the appointed administrators by DS group. The purchase includes the assets of Landmann Ltd in the UK which will now continue to trade as a going concern for the foreseeable future with the support of DS Group.

The staff and management at Landmann Ltd are delighted to be in a position where they will be able to continue supplying Barbecues, Firepits and Accessories to its customers.

“We expect a short period of adjustment whilst we finalise our supply chains and introduce new efficiencies but we expect to be in a position to start supplying BBQ's again during 2021.

“We would like to thank our customers who have shown us tremendous support and patience during this uncertain time as we look forward to a brighter 2021 and beyond.”

For more than 45 years, the DS group has been driven by the search for new product ideas and solutions that are close to the lives of its customers. Specializing in the non-food sector, the internationally active trading house with various companies and brands has a range of more than 4,000 products and is one of the largest suppliers of non-food products for retail chains, retailers, food stores, discounters, as well as online and mail order companies in Europe.

With over 400 employees, the group specializes in the import and distribution of innovative products and has an annual turnover of over 260 million euros.
