Keukenhof Gardeners Plant the First Flower Bulbs

On a mild autumn day, the gardeners of Keukenhof have started planting the first flower bulbs, marking the official beginning of preparations for the Keukenhof 2026 season.

After months of preparation, the park is ready. The first flower bed planted is shaped like the new Keukenhof logo, which was officially introduced this week. More information about the new visual identity can be found on the Keukenhof website.

In the coming months, 50 gardeners will plant 7 million flower bulbs by hand. The planting must be completed before the end of December. The spring park covers 32 hectares - roughly the size of 50 football fields.

Keukenhof will be open in 2026 from 19 March to 10 May. Tickets are now available at www.keukenhof.nl.
